Video Rocketry acknowledges that what was cutting-edge science only recently has now been subsumed as mass entertainment.  The images produced belie the technology that increasingly allows us to simulate experience from afar.  The overwhelming and qualitative visual impact of each rocket’s journey is contrasted with the complete lack of viable conclusions, quantitative results, or lessons for the future. These rockets travel as high as 5000 feet, deploy a parachute and return gently—or violently to earth. ​
